Dark yellow in color with a golden hue.
Pretty nose of oak, vanilla, Indian spices, butter, ripen citrus fruits and light honey.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with over ripened apples, citrus, lemons, spices, oak, bitter herbs and light vegetables.
Spicy finish with limes.
This 14 year old Chardonnay is still drinking nicely, although it feels like it was not stored properly.
A little muted on the palate, but I really enjoyed the nose.
Needed 20 minutes in the bottle to open up properly.
Good by itself and paired nicely with the Brie cheese.
Aged for 11 months in (35% new) French Oak barrels.
13% alcohol by volume.
90 points.
