Good workmanlike Bordeaux. Earthy, silky with a finish of jam and cassis. Not stellar or focused, but super approachable. A great all around 1995!

Happy. But only just happy with this. Still appreciate the opportunity to enjoy it.

Great nose that was not well fulfilled on the palette. Perhaps this wine is on the decline.

Perfectly cellared bottles replete with a firm cork after 27 years! Forest floor on the nose with vibrant color in the glass notes of graphite and cedar stood out from a very balanced and delightfully approachable Margaux with years of life remaining in the cellar IMO.

A Classic baby Margaux with the characteristic nose, graphite on the palette, and long finish. Remarkably alive and still in its prime!

From our cellar in Rio. We bought it winter 1999 so like 20 years go. Impeccably kept. Last bottle of 6. All the secondary and now tertiary aromas of a really compelling Margaux. Very fragrant on the nose, polished and balanced mouth with a very floral finish. Gorgeous to drink, might stay at this level but not for very long. Wonderful experience !

Another amazing showing for this vintage and Pavillon Rouge. Dare I say an even better showing than a couple weeks ago. A wine to drink today yet watch for another 10 years easily.
