A tasty Merlot based red wine from Saint Emilion. Young, but already enjoyable. Showing red fruits with earth, chocolates, tobacco, spices and peppercorn.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with mild complexity.
Needs a couple of hours to open up properly.
Needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Will get to 90+ points some day. A good wine to buy and hold.
A blend of 72% merlot 20%, Cabernet Franc and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon.
