This #hautbrion is missing lift and its structure has faded away but the delicateness and complexity is fantastic. There are no living fruits left but there is smoke, licorice, peppers, forest floor, and a seductive meatiness along with some #bordeaux staples. Moderate intensity and med + length. 1975 Haut-Brion... Many of my these wine labels have been molded over due to aging in one place at an ideal temperature and humidity since release... This wine kills... Fruit, flower, tannin, structure all jumping....

45th Anniversary Dinner @Sapore in Burlingame. well preserved cork, amber edge with resolved tannins. Mature fruit which enhanced our meal. Mouth coating flavors covered my palate. A pleasure to drink and share. Worth the wait.👍.

Right there, just in time. The nose is marvelous, perfectly balanced. On the palate, behind the tannins that are just starting to fade, one can really enjoy the structure of this fabulous wine.

Rich and smooth. It took about an hour to begin to open, then steadily blossomed to cedar and mushroom. A lovely balance.
