This largely Cabernet based Red Mountain wine starts off with aromas of toasty oak, cigar box and creme de cassis. There is a wonderful purity of fruit here, with boysenberry cobbler, milk chocolate and cassis flavors showing full force. With good weight and structure, this is built for at least ten years in the cellar. If enjoying young, be sure to give this an hour decant. This is an outstanding effort by the talented Brian Rudin. Drink 2019-2030- 92

Just a big wow. Duckhorn bringing the heat these days! Wonderful expression of cab.
FYI, I loathe ghetto-pours, unless it’s a by the glass serving. Loved the pour here 🙂

Come on now. This is a great cab! Got me thinking Bad Company! I’m ready for love! Balanced. Blackberry and oak. Jammy. Oh yeah.

Decanted for ninety minutes before first pour. Still very young though and had some green notes. Not bad counter balance to ribeye and sides.
