Tiva’s Birthday dinner wine at the Dabney in DC, recommended by the somme. The wine had some great mouth drying tannins, and tart red fruit that faded into some peppery, dryer fruits (due to the age). A bold nose, and medium body, it was a great pairing for savory, rich foods, with balanced, quick fading acidity.
