If you told me this was from Sicily, I wouldn't blink twice. Juicy, black/purple fruits and orange zest. Rather more acid than most wines from Vittoria. Chewy tannins

Was not expecting this. Bright and fresh Nero D’Avola but this one is D’Mendocino. Tart cherries with a puckering sour patch straw quality. Aged in beeswax lined cement.
