What a difference 4 years makes since last tasting this. This is much more secondary with cherry, herbal forest floor, mushroom, leather, dried lavender, maybe some meat notes. It almost seems like a Sangiovese as I’m thinking about it, but more game like components. So freaking good but start drinking soon!

Mar 11th, 2023Wow! The nose on this is spectacular. Wild blueberries, spices, fresh walk in the woods, and flowers. The feel and flavor in the mouth are so great. More blueberries, herbs, spices with perfectly integrated tannins. A balance between bandol and new world.
