Made in a small town at foot of Sierra Cantabria in the DO. A single variety Tempranillo from 50 year old vines has a deep Ruby red color and aged for 18 months in French and American oak. Aromas of red fruit and spice. On the palate plenty of fruit, showing fine tannins, well balanced with a medium+ finish ending with fruit, spice and some oak notes.

Vintage 2012 / Breathtaking smell. Plums. Cherries. Vanilla. Cinnamon. Really charming. But then I sipped the wine and I got a hit in the face. Sóóó extreme powerful and with high bitters. The wine shows it potential but I should put it away for another 3 to 5 years. #rioja

2012 vintage on 5.10.18
Not sure what is going on with this wine. Nice tempranilo nose makes you wanna taste. But in the mouth it seems all separate taste bullets. Not integrated. It was Decanted and tasted after 1 and after 24 hrs. Nothing changed.

2012 vintage. Dissapointing wine. Nice nose but completely off on taste. Sour and bitter dominate.
