Inky in color with a dark purple rim.

Nice fruity nose with black currants, cherries, blackberries, earth, vanilla, licorice, cedar, cloves, tobacco, milk chocolates, mocha, earth, peppercorn and spices.

Full bodied, but not bold nor elegant, with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, sweet plums, cherries, chocolates, smoke, licorice, oak, vanilla, mocha, earth, peppercorn, spices, cloves and vegetables.

Medium plus on the finish with round tannins and tangy cranberries.

This is a nice Argentinian Malbec from Mendoza. Unbalanced right now, with nice complexity. Needs a few years in the bottle. I'd like to revisit this in 3 years.

Spicy, concentrated and enjoyable by itself or with food like grilled meats.

Needs 2 hours to open up properly, but drinkable after a few minutes.

I paired it with Argentinian beef empanadas.

13.5% alcohol by volume.
