A nice wine that I picked up at Mazzaro's Italian Deli/Market in St. Pete today. It nicely complimented the freshly made eggplant parmigiana that we bought.

#garyveewineclub cherries, blueberries, oregano, black pepper, and black tea with oak supporting underneath. Needs to breathe. Good acidity. Pairs well with Italian American fare.

Day 2: nose of cola, tar, eucalyptus, cracked pepper, and blackberry. A little barnyard funk blows off with air. Old meets new world nose. Firm tannin backbone, supports black and blueberry fruit. Fresh flavors, medium weight. Solid finish. Excellent QPR, great house red. Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Merlot and Syrah. Under screw cap. #garyveewineclub
