Interesting, and maybe one of my first Mourvedres. Different for me, and not my favorite grape, but I can appreciate the winemaking here. Big ripe black and blue fruit, meaty, earthy, but smoky, chewy. Big bold wine. Long finish.

The 2017 Andremily Mourvedre is a blend of 88% Mourvedre from the Alta Mesa, and Larner Vineyards, co-fermented with 3% Viognier, and polished off with a touch of Syrah from the White Hawk Vineyard.,
Forgot I still had 2 more bottles. Nice Monday night football 🏈 wine.

Probably opened a little too early but no regrets....perfectly balanced, no rough edges...needed just a little air to fully show its stuff

The 2017 Andremily Mourvèdre was the wine tasted on the Zoom tasting a couple days ago. I really questioned even with a 3 hour decant is this thing going to be open? Holy cow was this good. It was surprisingly open with some air. And it will only get better with some age. This is a special wine IMO.

A beautiful mourvedre from Andremily, I was expecting this to be a bit more backwards given its youth, but it is impressively approachable. Beautiful aromatics, with an elegance that reminds me of SQN (if I’m not mistaken, the winemaker/owner apprenticed with Manfred for many years), this is just terrific.

Hopefully this helps @Rob Brobst III to see you only rate wines you open🤷
Great nose on this one.
