2007 Orma Toscana from Tenuta Sette Ponti. Bordeaux blend from Tuscany. 40% Cab Franc 20% Cab Sauv 40% Merlot. The wine spent 12 months in French bariques and another 12 in the bottle. Dark berries, spice, with hints of Licorice and chocolate. Well integrated tannins and a nice full finish. Our New Year wine is 2005 Tenuta Sette Ponti Oreno Toscana. After 17 years, the wine is still vibrant and strong. The tannins are still present but have mellowed. A wonderful glass of wine having a great balance between the fruits and the soft acidity.
新年最初のワインは、2005年Tenuta Sette Ponti Oreno Toscana、スーパータスカンブレンドを開けてみました。17年の時を経ても、生き生きと力強い。タンニンは感じるがほどよく柔らかい。フルーツと柔らかな酸の素晴らしいバランスが心地よいワイン。力強くもしなやかに変化できる年にしたい。
