I'm sorry, but I've had some many wines like this from this producer. Take my advice and take a wide berth. I bought a case of the 98 regular bottling, direct from the winery. Every bottle went down the sink.

Not better than tonight's Sandrone, just two different styles of wine making. I'm usually a Sandrone nut, but this was a nearly flawless Barolo.
