This is the best version of Focus I have had to date. Perfect time to drink the 2009. Berries, leather, and tobacco with a touch of oak. Really tasty, smooth, and zero tannins. Too bad this is the last one. — 4 years ago

One of my favorite wines from Relic, a Northern California, Southern Rhône, extremely well executed. The ‘12 was a particularly good year for this one. — 5 years ago

This has developed amazingly. Earthy and very Syrah complex on the front end but then the finish from the Viognier is like brandy. Perfect time to consume! — 5 years ago

It is finally fall in North Carolina, signaled by the presence of pumpkin beers. This porter was brewed with pumpkin and no other spices which makes it tasty and not overbearing. — 5 years ago

I love Belgian sours this time of year. This one features cherries, apple, oak, and vanilla. Drinks way to easy for the R-OH content. — 4 years ago

Decided to crack this rare one, only 75 cases produced, since the winery opened the library today and offered up some more bottles. This Syrah is extremely big and complex, lots of tobacco, coffee, and earth up front but finishes in a lingering, soft, and ethereal manner. I believe this is the best vintage of The Dare to date and looking forward to seeing how this wine progresses over the next several years. — 5 years ago
