In our binary world- this is a feminine format. Pinot weight and body with East Coast fruit expression. Nice aromatics couple with punchy acidic flow. The type of plummy acid that make the mouthfeel “float” with a grace more impactful than the actual fruit. Compelling, especially with the right cuisine ;) 1 bottle remains - target 2026? 91 pt because it’s NC and relatively weighted — 3 years ago

While the acid edge has dull a bit, this was full of life/flavor: lime & white grapefruit with a honeydew viscous body. The ‘17 is a 92pt version, tho! — 5 years ago

Baby Burg from woods of NW NC, had some polish & elegance — Bourgogne level w/plenty of oak influence, spice, dill, vanilla, toffee and some pear, lemon oil. Just really tasty, vibrant acidity leading to decent finish. QPR out the wazoooooo — 3 months ago

🔥 love this stuff, legit NC CF which I’ve had through the years and it is just getting better and better. Such freshness, vivid flavors: just picked cherries, florals, sweet herbaceous notes, white pepper, varietally correct. Med weight, structured but pliable tannins, juicy acidity really conveying flavors thru to impressive finish and all for $15 — 3 months ago
