Very smooth. Great wine to have without food. — 10 years ago
She liked but did like the finish notes of berries and wren was the best — 11 years ago
Amazing nose; nutty, sweet onion, butterscotch, orange. Supple texture and balanced sweetness and acidity. Long and sexy. — 12 years ago
Awesome Pinot that stood out despite the fact we had tasted a couple dozen wines at this point. — 12 years ago

An excellent earthy Zin. Heavy bodied, fruit forward, smooth tannins, and lingering finish. Light tannic character. Plum, burnt cherry, licorice. — 10 years ago

Sangio in Ca expresses similar to syrah. Sweet Red fruit and a dusting of white pepper with enough acidity to keep this big wine food friendly. The Hungarian oak has a nutty flavor. Happy to say that at 6 yrs this wine has never been better. — 11 years ago
It's 2010. Really coming into its own. Cherry spice box. — 12 years ago

Incredible intense cola and cherry. Great length. If you like the big RRV Pinot style this is a fantastic example of purity of fruit and insane length. — 10 years ago
Unbelievable Pinot. Complex and smooth — 11 years ago
This is crazy, and unsurprisingly delicious. Marlborough and Sancerre had a child... — 12 years ago

My first Bevan label Pinot, having had his private label Cabs and Pinot from his time with Wren Hop. Russel seems to go bigger when his name is directly associated, and I wondered if that was possible. This is unabashedly full throttle nitro-boosted Cali Pinot. I’m going to give remaining and future bottles more time to settle down. This is a radioactive stallion. — 8 years ago
