If you know Wren Hop or Russel Bevan’s style of Pinot, you know this wine. If you don’t, it doesn’t resemble many other Pinots. Some would say that disparagingly. I only say it descriptively. For those in the know, all I have to add, is the fruit is fading somewhat. And with WH, that seems against the point.

Moderately saturated burgundy color. Black cherry, blackberry, and dark berries on the nose. Ripe, sappy dark fruit on the palate with licorice on the finish. Should please fans of full throttle Cali Pinot.
