Dry and very classic tasting Riesling. Wet stone, lime, honeysuckle, green apple, green pear, flint, and the faintest hint of petrol. Clean with high acidity, medium alcohol, light body and a terrific compliment to food. I had it with tuna tartare and it was a knockout. Terrific value. — 3 years ago
I thought is was a nice crisp citrus with good body and acidity. It actually held up well with a pork chop and sauerkraut. — 6 years ago
Black cherry and ripe flavors of other red fruits, for me cranberry and strawberry. Delicious but not quite as elegant as I enjoyed in the 2017 vintage — 6 years ago
Love it! Used in pasta bolognese, also. — 6 years ago
Oak, vanilla, pepper. Black currant. Chocolate nuance. Leather. Concentration. Dry. Not much spicy. 8 years vantage. Wolf Blass Grey Label McLaren Vale Shiraz 17 @, TPEC, 250614 — a year ago
Crisp and bone dry German Riesling perfect for hot days. This trocken from the Pfalz is a great example of those German wines. Delicious, but not for everyone. — 2 years ago
Fruity at the front — 6 years ago
Light cab sav. Easily drinkable without food but would also be great with steaks. This would please anyone. — 6 years ago

What a delicious bottle of wine. I’m not remembering when or where I got this or the cost but I’m impressed with how well it has held up after 23 years. — a year ago
Nice complexity of aromas. — 2 years ago
This punches above its weight class. Having had the estate cuvée and cote bottles, this feels a peer. Big deep fruits. Smooth all the way through. Loved it — 3 years ago
A GSM blend from Cris Cherry at Villa Creek, this is what I would call one of his entry-level wines. Doesn’t possess the depth or complexity of some of his other cuvees like High Road or Avenger, but is still really enjoyable and a great value. — 6 years ago

Ripe, round, dark fruit and elegant without a whole lot of complexity. Easy drinker — 6 years ago

New vintage! Pale yellow, excellent clarity. Citrus, thyme and black pepper notes in nose. High acid, good body, lots of skin tannins given blanc de noir style of 100% Cabernet Franc. Flavor descriptors of lime peel, lime, thyme and black pepper apply. Mineral finish — 10 months ago
