From Paso Robles, showing dark, rich fruit, black pepper and cola notes. Aficionados of ripe, luscious wines should check out this robust Zinfandel. It’s blackberry fruit is jammy and intense, but there’s enough acidity here that the richness doesn’t wind up being overbearing. Round juicy flavors of cherry, raspberry and wildberry with notes of peppery spice. Recommended pairings: wood-fires pizza, smoked chicken, lasagna and fries-tip steak.

If you don't already know the name Kelley Fox, then its time to take note. The nose was intense with a mix of wildberry, strawberry and dusty cinnamon and spice, then turning more to minerals and crushed fall leaves. On the palate, I found silky, enveloping textures with ripe red fruits, hints of exotic spices, and inner floral tones. The finish was long with spicy red fruit and hints of grippy tannin. The 2014 seems to be getting better and better. #oregonpinotnoir #kelleyfox — 7 years ago
