Really delicious and absurdly good with tonight’s pasta — 6 years ago
This stunning Grenache was sourced from Monette's Vineyard in the Walla Walla Rocks region. Prior to bottling the wine was left on the lees for 18 months in neutral French oak barriques. This wine begins with aromatics of rose petals, white flowers, Mandarin orange rind and potpourri. This leads to flavors of red cherry, strawberry, orange zest and strawberry jam. This is pretty, downright sexy wine and absolutely irresistible at this juncture. While less acid-driven than the ’14 bottling, this outstanding wine is just as good and even more impossible to put down as the gorgeous aromatic and flavor range shines through. Only 103 cases made of this absolutely stunning Grenache, which is one of the best of its kind in Washington state. Drink 2019-2029- 95 — 6 years ago

Wow! Bought on a recommendation. A very fruity Plavac Mali. 2011 is super drinkable now. Outstanding. Great example of what a PM can be. Will go back to this repeatedly. — 9 years ago

Tastes like Christmas. Not a fan of the other Bolfan offerings, but this one is a stone cold hit. A bit over-priced, but good. — 6 years ago
Muyyyyy recomendable.😋
Unusual flavor, a little more floral and exotic. This wine from Aguascalientes was second to none accompanying my cream of clams. Not as salty as those of Baja California or as mineralized as most of Querétaro. In fact, the last time I tasted such a peculiar but delicious Mexican wine was with a Cuna di Tierra de Guanajuato. Muyyyyy recommendable😋 — 6 years ago
Had a 2014. Owner says 94 by Robert Parker... totally believable as wine is excellent, fresh, acid with an almond aftertaste...love it — 7 years ago

Again and again and again just delicious, paired it with Asian food on a hot and humid Beirut night, with AC of course — 7 years ago
Well...I must say that this was one of the more surprising wines I’ve had in a while. Picked up from the bargain-bin at the local Hy-Vee for $9. After opening, it was a bit tedious and, to be honest, I didn’t think it was going to come around. We didn’t finish the bottle so just stuffed the cork back in the bottle and stuck it in the basement. The next day, I wasn’t particularly excited to revisit the bottle but I’m so pleased that I did. Cassis, tobacco, baking spices, leather, and graphite on the nose. Cassis, dark cherry and earth on the palate. The structure propped it all up very well. Long-ish finish...I just didn’t expect this from a 7 year-old grocery store wine. Good with food or on its own. Should last until 2021. — 7 years ago
