Lovely dark fruit, spice, and coniferous forest floor on the nose. Tannins overwhelm the back palate. Nice medium alcohol and acid. Medium garnet color. Excellent value in a very lovely and unusual wine. — 7 years ago
Pale green, peach and lingonberry on the nose. Nice balance of sweetness and acidity, refreshing, full-bodied for a Riesling, gooseberry and lime. — 8 years ago
Ended #drinkchenin with a pre-view of this new release - just gaining its chops - tight yet ready to blossom. — 10 years ago

Clone from Loire valley. Very tasty. Supply and demand has brought this from $45 to $85 — 6 years ago
Juicy dark fruit. Light+ mid palate with subtle smoke and minerality. Tart fruit acid finish, mellow tannins. Very good, would like to see how it ages. Thanks Hilary and David from Jones Lang LaSalle Brokerage. — 6 years ago
Herbal with some firm tannins. Goes well with some meat and cheese. — 7 years ago
Bløt og fin fra en årgang som visstnok ikke er så bra i Spania. Lang ettersmak, myke tanniner (tror jeg) — 8 years ago

A great Riesling also from Germany. On the nose extremely floral with a slight peachy note. On the back end I pick up a slight minerally smell as well. On the tongue, extremely light bodied with high acidity. And a slight tartness. This would go well with chips and a spicy salsa. — 11 years ago

Winery in the Rheingau is now called Kaufmann. Tasted this over the Christmas Holidays in Frankfurt. Beautiful wine, good acidity, hint of lemon, peach, and a soft petrol nose. Urban Kaufmann and partner Eva Rapp have been leaders in redefining Germany's classification system this GG (Grosses Gewachs) is a great start — 6 years ago
