Nice sesame reduction on the nose with some roast apple and a hint of salty caramel.
On the palate this has nice tension, a salty mineral core covered in layers of apple, green apricot and caramel.
Good depth and purity and soo food friendly. — 3 years ago
Love the mouthfeel, almost oily balances with striking acidity and a nice core of fruit, all in balance, almost restrained. — 7 years ago
Always good to try some Austrian back to the roots wine. Would love to have more of this regularly! — 8 years ago
отличный мозелевский рислинг, с нотами цветов, персика и каучука, аромат средней интенсивности; кислотность высокая, несмотря на сахар; вино очень живое, яркое и питкое — 9 years ago
Expressive nose with black peppercorns, cloves, crushed rock, a hint of iron & blood, underneath all that - pure black fruit. Fresh, spicy, enticing.
Medium bodied on the palate with ripe, grippy tannins, juicy black fruit acidity and nice purity to the fruit. This has grip, good tension, quite some power and loads of character. Reminiscent of Northern Rhône.
Nice length, too! A brilliant Austrian red! — 3 years ago
PLV normal minus bei 9 EUR (1 EUR ist Regionalzuschlag) aber Hexamers Weissburgunder liegt bei 8,30 und ist nicht viel besser. Auf jeden Fall ein schöner Wein. — 3 years ago

Yummy! Pour it on your pancakes - or have with some nice foie gras — 9 years ago
— 3 years ago
Hibiscus, rose, sorrel, ink magenta color, acid right away, leather, blackberry, plum, cherry, deep woody leather, acid over tannin — 4 years ago
Day one: not very appealing. Jammy, unbalanced. Day two: a totally different wine. Well balanced. More complex. Hints of a right bank Bordeaux. W some spice. Would guess is a blend w cab franc. Liked a lot day two. 13% al. — 6 years ago
For lovers of natural wine, untouched and unfiltered. You will barely recognize Gruner, as the nose offers dough aromas, bread, yeast, resin from a pine tree, sauerkraut. Medium to medium high acidity. — 7 years ago

Vivid & crunchy, with red & black fruits in the nose (dark cherry, plums) but also some cloves, a hint of orange zest and some darker earthy notes in the back. A touch of brambly, wild character.
Much fresher vs the Nittnaus Pannobile.
On the palate smooth and with great flow. Nice, velvety tannins, zippy citrus acidity, damson plums, red currants, sour cherries. But also a core of irony minerality.
Very attractive, balancing nicely between the pure fruit and the savoury character. Plus some interesting edges on the side.
High drinkability, too!
A truly nice wine! — 3 years ago
