Lovely Canadian orange wine. Tastes like a grapefruit bouquet of flowers! — 5 years ago
Honey, peaches, kind of like a complex fruit cup syrup mixed with pure gold. These wines are always so sensual. — 6 years ago
Vivid orange-pink. Bright, minerally and focused on the highly perfumed nose, displaying fresh blood orange, strawberry and floral aromas that expand steadily with aeration. Energetic and chewy in the mouth, offering concentrated red berry, citrus fruit and honeysuckle flavors that show excellent depth and delineation. Closes taut and precise, displaying strong persistence and a resonating floral note. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, August 2019) — 6 years ago
Come on. Galaxy warehouse sale for 4 dollars? Forget about it — 9 years ago
Huge fruity nose, totally opaque dark purple, tastes of red fruit - particularly raspberry with a hint of strawberry. Bold but not overwhelming tannins on the finish. Delicious. — 4 years ago
Bright, structured, green apple and perfume, tart. Enjoyed it - sense it will hold well over time. August 2018. — 7 years ago

Funked out sauv blanc. Damn! Wouldn't have expected it from Geisen. — 8 years ago
2012 opened August 2017. Lots of fruit on the nose, but it's a bit ambiguous. Ripe plums with unripe cherries. The greenness of the unripe cherries gets me on the front of the palate. But very delectable otherwise -- all the way down. I was hoping for a bit more Tanic structure in a wine of this price point. I reluctantly give it a 9.0. Not the best that Silver Oak has done. Very drinkable, but not a great wine.

The 2011 Climens has a fresh, lifted, mineral-driven bouquet which has closed down a little. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh. A lively, tensile finish, with hints of stem ginger thatlinger on the aftertaste. This is drinking beautifully. Tasted at the Climens vertical at the château in April 2022.
