The best Riesling I’ve ever had in my life. We had it for Thanksgiving. It was great with turkey and gravy. — 6 years ago
100% Riesling
Strong amble gold. Nectar like color. Sumptuous.
Apricot, nectarine, white peach. Slightly petrol bouquet.
Med plus plus acidity, some sugar residual (just below the semi dry level), medium body. Slightly oxidized but in a good way, adding complexity to the mouthfeel. Petrol, slightly saline. Expressive fruits characteristic of Mosel's steep slate slope. Pineapple, ripe mango, apricot, peach.
Amazing bottle of 23 year old Mosel riesling. Ideally this could be kept 10-15 years more before it reaches its apogee. Quite a handsome wine as it is today though. 92+. — 8 years ago

Amazing. Very rich sweet and complex Riesling., with a typical flavor of petroleum. — 9 years ago
Bernkastel wine festival! Dry Riesling in every sense, smell of wet slate (less of petrol), soaring acidity and medium body with a long finish. Crisp and clean with minerality and acidity dominant, minimal fruit flavors. — 6 years ago
Lovely, bright, sunlight, apricot and slate. The natural sugars of the spatlese are there but chill after 21 years waiting #myfavoritethings — 7 years ago
Exceptional, high acid, pineapple essence. — 8 years ago
Still holding up after 45 years...great acidity and fruit! — 9 years ago
Surprisingly good acidity for 2003, especially 13 years later. Delicious with ABC Cafe. — 9 years ago
Racy acidity, a deep fruit character and lenghty finish. A must try! This is what it’s about! — 7 years ago
Really good fruit and sugar-acid balance, with minerality, petrol. Could definitely continue to age. — 7 years ago

A creamy, sweet nose with notes of juicy peach, citrus, nectarine and honey. Juicy, lush and sweet on the palate. Flavors of sweet, juicy peach and fresh, crisp citrus lead to nuanced notes of spice, honey and cream rounded out by still zest, crisp acidity, even after 10 years in the bottle. The finish is long and sweet but balanced by long, bright acidity creating a wonderfully balanced dessert wine. — 8 years ago
I love this wine! It has transpired my love of white wine. Very smooth, sweet, but high acidity breaks up the sweetness. LOVE!!! — 9 years ago
