For my last 20 days in America. — 7 years ago
Jalapeño, bell pepper, habanero, cilantro, onion all uncooked and added in separate times during my distillation. Smells like fresh salsa and taste amazing. — 7 years ago
Got to taste this beauty at the recent patron event at my store. Gotta say though..ive recently had some extra Anejo that is older than this, and 1/6 the price that I believe to be just as good..but it is still special and delicious. Aged in both new American and French oak at medium toast. — 8 years ago
My favorite gin to accompany tonic. Without a doubt more effervescent than hendrick's, but would recommend their dry gin for a gin martini. Very floral and delicious, little bit of spice. — 9 years ago

So, not sure how to follow up on a night that included an incredible wine dinner featuring Ridge Vineyards... The jammy Zin's have left me looking for something a little sweeter (I have no Ridge in the house as alternative). So off to the wonderful land of pomegranate liqueur over ice. This is a dangerous bottle, hence it hasn't been cracked until tonight, I had to clean the dust off, but now it'll never make it back to the shelf...Seek and be rewarded! — 7 years ago
Nice clean sweeter American whiskey ...third one that night though — 8 years ago
A gateway "bourbon" for me and one we always keep handy at WineWeirdos HQ — 9 years ago
The 2017 Grenache is made 30% in concrete egg and 70% in used oak.
The nose reveals; spicy, red & blue fruits. Beautiful, ripe fruit with very pronounced beautiful florals. Leaner blackberries, sour dark cherries, blue fruits, strawberries, dark, rich soils, dry crushed granite soils, vanillin notes with bright, strong red and blue florals.
The body is lean for Grenache. It’s starts with bright red & blue fruits and slides into dark, medium intensity spices. Lean and almost burgundy in style. Blackberries, sour dark cherries, blue fruits, strawberries, dark, rich soils, dry crushed granite soils, vanillin notes with bright, strong red and blue florals. The acidity is magnificent. The finish is very well balanced, ripe and polished.
Photos of; the entrance to Waterford, fireplace in their tasting room, stainless steel tanks hanging from the ceiling with walkways (saves some money of not building a complete floor while maintaining gravity flow) and their numerous olive trees. — 6 years ago
Very smooth and balanced. It goes very well with beef — 7 years ago
For a change in gin, this is really good. — 7 years ago
Second white wine on the wine drive at Waterford. Light greenish yellow. A little creamy on the nose with notes of apples and citrus fruits. Richer than the last. Solid acidity on the palate (6.5/10) and medium to medium plus body. Fresh palate with apples and citrus fruits. A touch creamy mouthfeel in the palate. Long finish. Drink till 2022.
