Fantastic head upon initial pouring. Funk, yeast, and dried fruits. More importantly, the cigar is a Liga Privada No. 9. Prodigious smoke with a luxuriously round salty leather palate. Mild coffee, earth, and pecans. Superb. 9.6. — 10 years ago

This was a true surprise. One of the best barrel aged stouts I've had. The vanilla really mellows out the booziness, but there's a lot of complexity with the chocolate and whisky notes. — 6 years ago

NV / Lazy Saturday Lunch, trying a combination that is classic but unknown to me: oysters with stout beer. Imperial Stout aged on Coffee, Cacao Nibs, Vannilla Beans and Chili Peppers. Indeed a nice combination. I would not mind to get this stout as present on éach birthday 😌 — 7 years ago

A touch cloudy lemon yellow in appearance with a medium white head. A bit stinky with a touch of citrus rind and hay. Smooth and crisp mouthfeel with some funkiness and stone fruits. Medium length finish. Perfect Saison for people new to the style. — 8 years ago
