The spice and acidity paired with pasta with maitake mushrooms — 6 years ago

Such lightness and freshness, like when you breathe clean mountain air. Yet it has real taste and depth. Radically different from any German red, I really cannot compare it to any other wine in memory. How do they make this? — 7 years ago
Gorgeous texture with velvety dark red fruit with notes of game, leather and truffle. Pretty acidity keeps it all in balance. — 8 years ago
Explosive citrus flavors. — 5 years ago
Light straw color. Nose is tart. Bright. Citrus. Taste is acidic. Dry! Astringent. Full. Lemon. Pear. Like. Green apple. Fresh. — 5 years ago
Peppery, herbal, fresh raspberries. Great value. — 7 years ago
Snappy! This wine brings the pop. Great acid and dryness at its core, this builds the framework for this wine’s structure and ability to hold greater complexity in its expression of fruit. Lemongrass, ripe grapefruit, candied kumquat, slate, and petrichor zip across the palette. I’ve had other bottlings from this producer in mixed vintages but this one clearly rises to the top in 2014. At a great place to enjoy now. Grip & rip. One for the acid freaks — 7 years ago
Day 2 notes as on day 1 I wasn’t paying that much attention. Very mineral and green herbal. Nice rocks as well. Good detail and depth. Nice lime and lemon. Very precise aromas. Palate has all types of gorgeous bitter citrus fruits with some hints of apricot. Nice mouthfeel and richness while while also being mineral and finesse driven. Terrific. — 8 years ago

Going to shake the hell out of the bottle so the So2 blows off. Then decant. Drank last night and couldn’t sleep because my nose was fucked. Still, I like this very much. Had a similar experience drinking a Keller study. And I love Keller’s wines. — 5 years ago
