Perfect mind blowing life affirming wine. Never had this with age. KP says to drink the 13s now, we drink the 13s now. Very expressive Keller-like fruit with an insanely long mineral finish that lasts minutes. Heavenly. — 3 years ago

Tokyo fried chicken night with 4HHM. had to pop a Riesling and had to pop a Keller for this inaugural feast at WareHome. Kirschpiel is always generous but with some age it gives even more! Yes, some of the tension is gone. But what’s developed is incredible. Petrol nose and deep rich layers of that KP magic. Nothing like it. After an hour the king acid finish arrived and was ethereal. Wish I had a mag. — 3 years ago
Not as pepper-driven as previous vintage I’ve tasted but still enjoyable and highly quaffable. — 4 years ago
Sweet dark fruits, leather, smoke with some roasted meat. — 5 years ago
Pretty - floral, strawberries and cherries with nice freshness & length, linearly carrying some spice underneath. — 6 years ago
Off dry. I swear this has a PBR resonance to it. — 7 months ago
Needed a good decant to open up and blow away some initial reduction. Still so primary at this stage, with a more elegant fruit profile than the 07'. Pure, juicy red fruits with some really impressive concentration focused around the mid-palate. Super silky texture and some mineral drive in the backend, though not as palpable as the 07'. Still needs time to develop more depth and I'm inclined to say that it would eventually surpass the 07'. — 3 years ago
