G-Max Rheinhessen Riesling 2005

lovely intense Riesling fruit. A hint of oxidation. Slate, apple, sweet floral notes. Rounded with good weight in the mid palate. Defined and precise. Excellent. — 8 months ago

Morstein Riesling 2013

Perfect mind blowing life affirming wine. Never had this with age. KP says to drink the 13s now, we drink the 13s now. Very expressive Keller-like fruit with an insanely long mineral finish that lasts minutes. Heavenly. — 3 years ago

Kirchspiel Riesling GG 2009

Tokyo fried chicken night with 4HHM. had to pop a Riesling and had to pop a Keller for this inaugural feast at WareHome. Kirschpiel is always generous but with some age it gives even more! Yes, some of the tension is gone. But what’s developed is incredible. Petrol nose and deep rich layers of that KP magic. Nothing like it. After an hour the king acid finish arrived and was ethereal. Wish I had a mag. — 3 years ago

Bürgel Spätburgunder 2012

Needed a good decant to open up and blow away some initial reduction. Still so primary at this stage, with a more elegant fruit profile than the 07'. Pure, juicy red fruits with some really impressive concentration focused around the mid-palate. Super silky texture and some mineral drive in the backend, though not as palpable as the 07'. Still needs time to develop more depth and I'm inclined to say that it would eventually surpass the 07'. — 3 years ago

@Aaron Tan Very helpful note. When would you open your next bottle if you had one.? This is the only red from Keller that I own .

@Ira Schwartz This bottle looked like it could use another 5 years to really be drinking, although it was already really nice. Do note that this was drank at the source, stored at 8 degrees celcius since vinification.

@Ira Schwartz Definitely grab some Frauenberg! Often lovely to see the difference between the two cuvees.
