30% cabernet 70% Monastrell/Mourvedre grapes. 22-36 months in french and American Oak. New style Spanish wine similar to a California Cabernet. I would put this wine up next to Caymus in a blind test. — 8 years ago
Delicious with wonderful full body. Perfect to serve at dinner party. — 9 years ago

Obviously biased but this new 2013 Vineyard 36 Thirty Six is an explosive 100% Napa Valley Cabernet. Only going to improve over the next year and will certainly cellar for 7-10

Pours Jam in color. Aromas of bell pepper and dark berries. Flavors the same along with chocolate. It is a velvety wine no drying tannins. Almost like milk chocolate melting on your tongue. Edwin body long finish — 9 years ago

One of my favorite blends. Mostly zinfindel but dry, oaky full bodied with a long finish. Price point about $36 when you can find it. Made by Irwin swift — 11 years ago
Light, bright, almost effervescent. 36% ribolla adds a funky undertone that is pure Collio-in-Napa. — 8 years ago
36% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% merlot, 26% petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet franc. A sweet (actually don't laugh like ketchup) aroma then flavors of dark berries, earthy tones and dry tannins, nicely balanced — 8 years ago
64% merlot 36% cab. Why I love Howell Mtn. — 9 years ago
