Smokehouse berry nose with piney undertones. Big holiday berry mouth upfront with a soft long finish. Pleasing way to begin a winter night. — 8 years ago
I really like this one :) — 9 years ago
Vinca minor babrak vineyard merlot/cab franc. 2014. Just a ton of wet stone, dried cranberries, and pepper. Aftertaste has a jolly rancher cherry quality. Interested to see how this evolves overnight. — 10 years ago
2nd level offering from BVE - impressive value — 10 years ago
Happy Halloween to all! No spooky bottles in our cellar, but I do have this delicious rosé!
Prior notes still apply.
A beautiful Kimmeridgian soiled Pinot Noir! Very round and beautiful on the palate, all stainless in the process so very clean fruits. Cherry skin, minor orange zest, green melon, light tannins, very enjoyable strawberry finish, great value as a neighbor to Sancerre for under $15. — 7 years ago

Enjoyed the oak! — 8 years ago
Deliciously refreshing yet savory. Lighter on its feet than the blend would suggest. Very pretty. — 9 years ago
Wow. Nose invites with subtle fruit, mouth is light - less earthy than some, crisp finish. This darling has a minor spice that fades quickly, leaving me want another — 10 years ago
Lovely deep purple colour with a blackcurrant nose with hints of chocolate and undergrowth. Very smooth and quaffable - almost like drinking Ribena! Perhaps a hint of chocolate and herbs with the blackcurrant and plum. A certain sweetness on the aftertaste and a lack of "bottom" are my minor quibbles — 10 years ago
First night at Basi in CBUS, trying this delectable red — 11 years ago

Bold for a Pinot. Black fruit and cherry. Herbaceous - thyme? - and some nice acidity. Really great value. — 7 years ago
