Barcelona Reserva Brut Rosé Blend

This fun bubbly brings the brut. It's Sahara dry, with a strong earthy and yeasty streak running through it. The unusual grape - Trepat - comes on with some of the earthiness of a North American variety, and provides a nice counterpoint to the Pinot Noir. It's my first time to taste Trepat, by the way, and I would do it again. Minerals all over the strawberry aromas and flavors hit very well, and provide food friendliness. Nice price alert: $16 — 6 years ago

Brut Reserva Cava Macabeo-Xarel-lo-Parellada

The smell of fruit coming off the bottle when the cork popped was already impressive but it is equally matched by a full luscious fruity but yet beautifully balanced acidity! — 2 years ago

Reserva Rosé Delicat Barcelona Rosé Blend

Garnacha and Pinot Noir. This wine colors up to quite a striking salmon orange in the glass. The nose brings aromas of red fruit, with yeasty notes playing around the edges. Its palate adds a dash of orange peel to the cherry and strawberry flavors. The acidity is very fresh and lively. Throw in the bubbles and you have a party in the bottle. — 2 years ago

Great body, roasted walnuts, dried bread crumbs and popping-rip strawberries! Equally well-suited to the table as to a hearty aperitif hour. — 8 years ago
