Budget friendly Cru Beaujolais (Brouilly). Vivid light ruby color. Intense nose of earth, smoke, purple flowers, wet stones and red berries. Just a touch of Brett. Pallet is full of lush and juicy red and blue fruit. Hint of baking spices. Gentle texture and extremely soft tannins. Bright! — 3 years ago
For many years I have found this wine to be subdued and shut down and have always wondered how that’s possible but NOW this wine was so expressive it became the winner for a few days of showing. Too much to say. This is expert winemaking with real unique clean and noble style. Still no one has caught on. Trained by Allemand in Cornas. — 5 years ago

Loveeeeee this wine!! — 7 years ago
Strawberry and reminds you how close Beaujolais is to the Rhône and yes his 14s and 16s are better (by far) but this warmed me up — 8 years ago
Excellent gamay feel like i haven’t had one in some years now was once atop my list of tiers. — 2 years ago
Crimson in colour. Sappy cherry aromas - earthy notes. Sour cherry flavours, juicy red fruits, some spice. Light to medium bodied palate and tannins. Apparently a little bit of Chardonnay goes into the blend with the Gamay. Obviously more a summer than a winter drink but curiosity got the better of me. I don’t drink much Beaujolais but this was highly recommended by Roscoe at Prince Wine Store in South Melbourne. Congratulations @PrinceWineStore for being named in the Top 10 Wine Stores in the World! Saw the list in the regular email I get from Acker in New York. Acker were #1 ; Berry Bros and Rudd in London were #2 . — 5 years ago
Great big violets, cherries and blueberries. Has the tension of a heavier spatburgunder. Tannins are fine grained and integrated. So many flowers, lots of perfume. Happy making juice here. Not simple, depth of flavor, good balance, enough tannins to have a long finish. Good stuff. — 6 years ago
Great bottle of this. Tons of crunchy red fruit and minerality. — 6 years ago
This is how I want all wine to taste. Great acid that rolls into great tannins with enough body to feel satiating but still juicy and refreshing. — 7 years ago
Fresh strawberries and cranberries on first nose, mineral component coming through after a swirl, generous fruit in mouth supported by acidic tension. Already in balance + it surely has more stories to tell in the next 2-4 years. Impeccable. — 8 years ago
Columbia County 2.0: interesting drinking this day after a German Pinot, as I found them surprisingly related. A fave Beaujo producer’s Morgon, also a cooler tone & elegant. Blackberries & cassis, darker berries and a fine grittiness to integrated tannins. I like this drinking window (6 yrs) but imagine several if not more left. — 2 years ago
Wow - power Beauj, unexpected. Dark, Somewhat austere (age) yet also fruity. Maybe that’s the old vines? Not sure what to compare it to - maybe a good CDP — 6 years ago
Mineral and fruity. Medium plus body, intense ruby, very good finish. — 7 years ago
New Years part 1: a bit more muscular than typical Fleurie — 8 years ago
