Juicy and spicey with a great body. Really smooth. — 5 years ago
This is a solid Gigondas, especially for the price. Spent 1 hour in the decanter and it is still bright and young. A lot of fruit and a lot of alcohol for a French wine (15%). Perfumed and aromatic on the nose. Lively acidity with cherry, strawberry, and other mixed red fruit. There is some solid earthy attributes but they are restrained compared to other Rhône wines. This will be really enjoyable in about 3-5 years. — 6 years ago
Picked up this 6 Euro bottle a few weeks back & paired with Italian tonight. Still trying to learn what it is I’m smelling and tasting... — 8 years ago
Very tasty fruit forward, light red wine for the summer. I am a huge fan of Franc and this reminded me of that fact. — 8 years ago
Use to crush thru this. Was 9.99 bevmo 2nd one a nickel. Up to $19.99 now. Really good. For the price. — 9 years ago
After an onslaught of young Bordeaux this was like a hot shower for the palate. Soft but not at all weak, the concentrated black fruit and dried fig notes are harmoniously balanced by acid. Long finish. — 9 years ago
Like a Haribo strawberry fizz. Pairs well with friendship, a fall feast and tears — 5 years ago
Light and bright fruit, white pepper and a bit of rhubarb. Fun to drink and great with roast chicken. — 7 years ago
The reviews on this are fascinating! After having the cakebread a few nights ago it is amazing how close these wines are. This is beautiful cherry and raspberry fruit with a hint of pepper and good tannin. I’m guessing that provenance of this wine is the key to difference of reviews or garagiste truly received something different in the bottle. Great qpr from my tasting. — 8 years ago
Earthy, leather, bright raspberry with medium tannins. Very well balanced red. Can taste the oak a bit gives a bourbon carmelized taste — 9 years ago

Tastes like a mini CdP, at a fraction of the price. — 5 years ago
A beautiful PN and at a very affordable price for every day enjoyment — 5 years ago
Mountain berries, black cherries and licorice drops. Strong tanninic snap to cut through things. But balanced and clean. Paired with a raspberry birthday cake, but would go with anything sweet, savory or rich. Lovely Rhône. — 7 years ago
Earthy and barnyardy yet still effervescent. A winner. — 8 years ago
Much better on the empty-stomach palette. The notes on this wine that came with the glass are, "Lemon and Sea Brine. Bright aromas are Meyer lemon zest, Bartlett pear, nectarine, fresh dough and sea brine lead to a crisp, citrusy palate of lemon, white grapefruit, and minerals in this refreshing white from the south of France." I guess I wanted a refreshing glass. — 8 years ago
Dense and rich, yet highly drinkable. Layered, with a core of ripe black & blueberries, with some liquorice and garrigue in the finish. Fine grained tannins and good balance. Impressive. — 9 years ago

Drinks well above its price point, fruity; strawberry, melon—but dry and luscious, bought half a case, wish I had purchased a full case—great summer rose — 4 years ago
