Quite intense on the palate with real focus , very fresh acidity but with enough body to cover . This tastes very young really and probably needs more time to be at peak . Aroma has a touch of diacetyl but it's light enough to be pleasant. Loads of currant and with a heavy cocoa, tobacco, and slate finishing note. Drinks surprisingly light for as dark and heavy as it smells. Very fruity with a lot of acid but a tannic finish that quenches the acid. Very nice wine. — 6 months ago

Still remarkably youthful, it’s rich, dense and dark fruited, layered with classicism of cigar box, cedar and spices. The palate is concentrated and powerful with a silky texture and incredible length. 95 is nowhere near its peak. Many more years to go.
