Light golden color, Acacia, almond, honey bouquet, with sweet cream, honey flavors. Medium bodied, very long finish. At peak and probably good for 2-3 more yrs at this level — 7 years ago

Had to open this after the 92 Verget Montrachet the night before pushing me this way. Deep yellow gold color from bottle with a high fill. Nose suggests immediately this is the real deal. Notes of apricot, lemon, clay soil and some brown spice. Incredible impact in the mouth. Lucious fruit battling fine grain acidity that makes your face flush. This always performs and is one of my all time fave white burgs. — 7 years ago
From Greenwich. CRR. Clapboard. Still very good. — 8 years ago
Medium gold, heavy in the glass like oil. Ripe apricot nose. Also notes of peach, vanilla, wet pebble stones, sweet kiwi fruit. Huge power in the mouth where the fruit matches some big structure. Long finish. This wine ebbed and flowed all day and needed to be chilled down a few times with the warm outside weather. Drink these sooner rather than later. — 6 years ago
Wonderful Surprise. We opened it to@share with Pizza, but killed it way before the pie was ready. Simply Delicious. Firm, pleasant start, fresh cut grass, honeysuckle top notes, white Burgundy at its best. There is no mystery to this wine. Open, drink, savor and be pleased with your purchase! — 7 years ago
Nose and palate like a New World Chardonnay. Some funky leesy notes and some sulphidic Struck match. Trace of pineapple juice on palate. Lightly oaked with muted acid. Good Wine but the Verget is $59 and the Leeuwin Estate Prelude from Margaret River at about half this price is a better wine. Tasted 123 weeks later on 12th December 2020 with consistent notes. Certainly new world in style except lightly Oaked with that Pineapple juice still there. Interestingly I was rereading a tasting note on Leflaive Macon. Pineapple juice flavours must be a characteristic of the region. — 7 years ago

Deep medium gold. Heavy weight. Killer nose. Notes of apricot, gravel stone, orange, tan spice, some ginger and a little toffee. Some mint appears as the wine gets more air. Rich and fat in the mouth. Sneaky acidity. Great length. Loved this tonight. — 5 years ago
