I only discovered Verget two year ago and the story behind this wine maker just recently, I am both glad and sad, glad as the wines are superb and they perfectly match my taste in whites, sad as I missed some of the past masterpiece wines made under this label. This Chablis 1er cru is spot in, perfectly balanced between a light touch of wood and splendid minerals, the body is smooth and round, with great finesse and an elegant finish. The 2009 vintage superb, go for it!! My score 90, drink to 2020
