Great smooth and easy drinking oaky and fruity, mostly merlot but not boring. Great without food but better with red meat — 7 years ago
Entry on this wine needs to acknowledge 23% Semillon in the blend. Great acid with lemon notes that turned into pink grapefruit. Bright and crisp — 2 years ago
Tried a sample at a wine tasting bar in store. Very pleasant - not aged in oak which I prefer. — 6 years ago
Clos Saint Marc is a 4.2 acre walled vineyard on a hillside within the 1er Cru Les Vergers on the north border of the appellation overlooking St Aubin and Le Montrachet directly to the north. Olivier Leflaive’s 2010 is stunning. This bottle might even be better than the one I had on Christmas Eve last year. Lime peel, orange blossom, spiced apple, melon rind, oyster shell, and crushed white rock with racy acidity. What a wonderfully delectable pairing with garlic lemon butter scallops. — 7 years ago
