Spicy on tip of tongue and a hint of licorice towards the end. — 9 years ago
Delicious but not your beginners' cab blend. My first sip felt gritty, but let breathe a few minutes and then it pops. Hints of strawberry, grilled bell pepper, and earth. Light tannin but mouth popping acidity. Great cab franc blend! The fruit in this value has excellent, albeit under appreciated pedigree with fruit from two of the best vineyards (Taptiel and Ciel du Chuvel) on Red Mountain, possibly the best unknown Cab region in the U.S. For those looking for an adventurous departure from ordinary cab savs, enjoy! — 10 years ago
Life is to short to drink bad wine #winelover - allowing myself a little delicacy from Ardèche tonight, a lovely blend of Cinsault, Grenache,Merlot and Syrah - a "big" bottle from a small and unknown but upcoming
appellation - loved it 🍷👏😋 a biodynamic estate that produces great wines! - Chateau de la Selve Serre de Berty 2006 — 10 years ago
Vintage unknown. No gasoline nose, bit neutral, hints of citrus. Sour yet no razor feeling, long finish. Way better than those from Clare valley I tried. Buy. — 11 years ago
Very impressive and complex (and cheap!) Amarone from a small and quite unknown winery... — 12 years ago

I am getting more and more amazed by Boulay's wines. Once his Monts Damnée came up second in a blind Sancerre tasting that I did. Right after Cotat. The domaine was unknown to me at that point, but after tasting more of his wines it is still in the range of Sancerre domaines that I like the most. Also his rosé is just plain beautiful. Apparently his wines are not really well known in France because he never sends tasting bottles to tastings. — 9 years ago
Great nose of mostly northern forest medleys, salmon bones, raisin bread, Bosc pear, brown sugar, sea spray, candied mushroom. Amazing entry of toasted honeycomb on myrrh crystals. Grows wooden and rye, exhibiting malt and cornbread crust, creamy coffee, borderline-overcooked, ripe pineapple essence, pencil shavings with light graphite, bitter lime. — 10 years ago

Interesting curiosity: newish cork, producer branded! yet no vintage printed!! So, vintage unknown, source believed as reliable (restaurant), team believed this to be equivalent to pre-1985, possibly late 1970s. Here's what I can say: Hello a Sexy Gypsy! Mysterious and unknown. — 12 years ago
What a find! Recommended by local shop. Really delightful unknown (to me) NZ Pinot. Lots of complex fruit, long finish. Delicious and will happily drink again. — 9 years ago
Dried apricots, fuyu persimmons, clementines, white pepper, orange blossom, barnyard, geraniums. Fresh lively acidity, light juicy body, dusty tannins, long complex citrus, floral, herbal finish, reminiscent of a lambic sour beer. Equal parts Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, Ortrugo, Marsanne, Unknown Indigenous Varietal all biodynamic. Skin contact 3 months, a nice introduction to the world of orange wines. — 9 years ago
Excellent super Tuscan for the price unknown secret 😀 — 10 years ago
Badly mistreated bottle of wine that was in a slightly insulated bag in the trunk of our car for unknown months. It still drank better than many wines I've had in recent months. Nice drop! — 10 years ago
Very nice clearance bin wine. Love checking out the unknown. — 12 years ago

Outstanding Bordeaux blend from the relatively unknown Similkameen valley in BC. Dark fruits and an interesting underlying smokiness that lasts in the mouth. Drinking nicely now and will stand up to a few more years in the cellar. — 9 years ago
