Great Sicilian craft beer! Stronger version of a blonde ale. Highly recommend — 9 years ago

Was excited to try this and very happy to find that it met expectations. Ulysses Valdez is famous enough for his vineyards and the former Marcassin team makes the wine. So glad this wasn't in an overdone style, instead balanced and restrained but bursting with fruit. Can't wait to try more. — 8 years ago
Tart cherries, wonderful acidity for structure. Low alcohol (13.2%) west of west and in pursuit of balance style. Great with food. Will benefit from a few Ulysses age, but is good now. — 10 years ago

This has form and pedigree. Nose presents barrel toast, sandalwood and a hint of pine. Mid palate is textured and focused. Tannins are still prominent and create added structure. Espresso notes and delicate maraschino cherries bring up the rear. For the money, this is elevated.
