Makes me want to give up trying and sampling other reds from around the planet. Red as it should be . A benchmark wine of energy and grace. From skin to core, layered with French expression. Worth it's dollar value as every expensive wine should be but often isn't. We're it not for my wife with me, this would have been the real beauty in the room. — 11 years ago
Only bought this because my wife loves mango (I do not) but it was extremely yummy! Perfect mix of flavors. Can be drank really at time of day with a variety of foods. FYI: It's sparkling. — 11 years ago
A smooth bottle of wine with my beautiful wife — 12 years ago
My wife and I had this red wine in Italy and are pleased to be able to get in the US. Excellent wine, especially for the price. — 13 years ago
Beautifully balanced Brunello! Barbi certainly has a special space in my heart as I visited that winery with my wife during our first joint trip to Italy! 2008 is ready but could certainly lay for 5/7 more years in my option before losing some main vintage character — 10 years ago
2009 is growing. My wife and I bought a case. She loves it and I can't argue. Blueberry muffins on the nose. As she opens up (yes oh so feminine) bright acidity and soft tannin surprised me. — 10 years ago
The 2014 winner of the Jimmy Watson Trophy at the Melbourne RNA for Best One Year Old Dry Red. Purple Red in colour. Nose not giving as much as it will in the future. Some spice. Full bodied palate with firm tannins. Steve Pannell is winemaker of the year in Australia and deservedly so IMO. He very rarely uses French Barriques preferring stainless steel and large old oak barrels a legacy of spending vintages in Barolo. A big future for this wine is assured. — 11 years ago
Delicious. Green apple and flowers. Beautiful, fine, and persistent bubbles. Fun with meyok guk. Happy birthday wife part 1. — 11 years ago
Always love this one!!!! — 11 years ago
Was told that this is a wonderful old vine Zin...the sales person was right! Wonderful balance and I rarely like Zins! My wife even likes it and she dislikes Zins!! Very nice finish on the palette! — 11 years ago
Oh so good!!! Tony Mac digging deep in the cellar for this one... Friend Joey's wife is apoplectic as I take my GNC Multi-Pack with my glass!!! Look, I'm only half Italian... Great, great bottle!!! Yeah, Tony Mac!!! — 13 years ago
Pepper for sure. Black cherry. Very lush. Great New Years Eve wine. Shared with my wonderful wife. — 10 years ago
Revana Cab 2001. Ripened black fruit on the nose. This is a elegant medium plus bodied Cabernet. A well structured valley floor wine. What you smell on the nose, is what you taste on the palate. A short decanting of 30 minutes. Let it open up in your class for 15 minutes. Supple light oak & acidity. A big fruit bomb now! My wife loves Revana! Drink up in the next 3/4 years.
2001 through 2007... I noticed variations in each btl/case. Is it just me? — 10 years ago

Wife cooks a special dinner - gotta have a special wine. Going with old reliable favorite. Rich but not "heavy". Nice berry finish. — 11 years ago
Enjoying this inexpensive, delicious wine with wife,Par, on the patio tonight. Nice sipping wine with jazz music, clear, starry night. Priceless. — 13 years ago
Paul T, Missing My Beautiful Wife 24/7
Nothing says wed like pollo loco & BV,
Save some cash and get the Beau Vigne old rutherford instead.
Not happy with these highly durable glasses my wife brought home, thick rim.
Back to easily breakable Reidel, does make a difference believe it or not, — 10 years ago
