Different rose than noted, this is their 2017. Anyway, one of the best roses by Pinot noir I’ve had. Very light, crisp cherry that offers a firm feel on the tongue (not flabby). — 7 years ago
2012 vintage. A big beefy cocoa grapey leather nose that intrigues and announces that this is not your average Oakville/Napa cab. Light/medium bodied. Finishes delicately and a little hot & salty. Definitely different and not for everyone since it's not MOR (middle of the road) stylistically. — 9 years ago
Yummy! Juicy, nice acid, with undertones of black cherry soda. Mor please!

Dark sweet cherry and dark berries. Hints of sweet followed by spicy notes. — 6 years ago
Light, refreshing, delicious! — 7 years ago
Nose somewhat muted, body full but may need mor time to evolve — 7 years ago
The Alloro Pinot Noir from Torii Mor delivers light berry and fruit to your palate. Great for drinking socially or pairing with food. Beautiful 2015 Pinot! — 8 years ago
1965 Baga from Barraida (Agueda), Casal Mor 'Caves Primavera' is still made to this day! Founded in 1944.
So, now the wine!
Color of tawny and brick, absolutely as expected at this age. The cork was whole when pulled via Durand, a little wet and very dark.
The nose was sous bois, crushed fall leaves, dried chipped beef, citrus peel, dried flowers and red fruits.
The palate was elegant and indeed tasted Portuguese, with some notes and textures that reminded me of old Barbaresco, Rioja and even Burgundy in its purity and finnesse.
Further time won't help this wine, but to taste this history, this snapshot of time, is one of the reasons I love wine so much.

Fresh vinho verde. Easy drinking — 9 years ago
Nice but could benefit from a little mor time in the bottle — 8 years ago
2012 vintage. Medium bodied. Bubble gum, orange zest, forest floor, Rainier cherry in the nose. Cherry, plummy, cedar flavors on a solid finish. Pretty. If someone was looking for a MOR (middle of the road) pinot to exemplify the current state of Oregon pinot affairs to a pinot newb, they could do a heckuva lot worse. — 9 years ago
