Fruity but dry, a lot of flavor! — 9 years ago
Smells like blackberry, dried cranberry (that one courtesy of my wife), and milk chocolate. Clearly good quality. Some slight baking spice. And dill? Tastes good! Less blackberry than the nose, a little more cherry and drier than expected. Still some slight dill. Silky. Like it! Killer deal for the $10 I paid (close out) - would be fine at $20. — 4 years ago
A new village level wine from Tobias Feiden. It is incredible. Nose is just next level. All terroir. Gorgeous sappy pine, tree bark, slate, some sappy sour cherries. Intoxicating. Color shows how aromatic this is. Gorgeous spice and dusty earth tones. Smells like a fantasy video game forest scene. A 9.3 on the nose. Easy. Palate is stunning. Fresh and transparent with gorgeous sappy sour and mid season cherry fruit, glorious spice and such purity. Clean as a whistle while having a serious transparency. Juicy. A hint of citrus due to brightness and just awesome texture. So balanced and so pure you can tell this is an expert winemaker. The drinkability factor of this wine is off the charts. What every “village” wine level should be in Germany. It’s so well made has just the right amount of fruit, aroma and is oozing with character. Truly a great wine. — 6 years ago
At the top of Mount Mannlichen. It's johannisberg not Fendant. Very nice nose of lemon and citrus. Acidic on palate, balanced and good food wine. Better than version in Zermatt Du Pont. — 8 years ago

On the nose, rich, ripe, candied fruits of; blackberries, blueberries, dark cherries, black raspberries, vegetal notes, black licorice, light black pepper and red fresh florals. On the palate, dry medium soft tannins. Ripe fruits of; blueberries, blackberries, black currants, black raspberries & raspberries. The core flavor of anise, wood shavings, leathery, mint, eucalyptus, green pepper, tobacco, dark roasted coffee and long beautifully rich finish with perfect acidity. Photos of their courtyard and barrel room. Big thank you to Tobias for his great hospitality, time, knowledge and great tasting. — 9 years ago
Great showing! Rich, intense cab and can drink now with an hour or two decanting 👍🏻👍🏻 — 4 years ago
Unlike many California Chardonnay, this one has a bit more character and nuance. It is not a butter/oak bomb like so many. It was well balanced and paired nicely with a variety of dishes. — 5 years ago
I don’t know if it’s because I can’t get it in the US or if it’s inextricably linked to my fantastic memories of skiing in Zermatt with my family that I love this wine, but I LOVE this wine. It has such a complex flavor profile and such a delightful balance of acidity and fruit that I wish I could drink it every day!!! — 7 years ago
More off dry #sauvignonblanc from CA versus NZ or French Sancerre. It’s a nice wine but I prefer the grassy, tropical tartness of those other regions. — 8 years ago
Drink slightly cooled on hot day. Celebrate Swiss Independence Day and fireworks with this wine — 9 years ago

Lovely aromatics on opening - these close up with time & air. Camphor, gorgeous fresh cherries, jolly rancher, vanilla & spices. Lovely intensity & poise. Effortless delicacy. Long finish. Beautiful work. — 3 years ago
