2003 Vintage is the best by far. Cannot find it anymore but drinks like a $50 bottle. — 10 years ago

Oaky and fruity. Great Chard if you love oaked Chards. — 11 years ago
My ex mother-in-law made a Swedish bread every year at Christmas. This brought all of it back, the yeast, cardamom and toasted almonds. It unfurled slowly, and my notes expanded accordingly—heady aromas of golden delicious apple, shortbread, dried honey, lemongrass, ginger and a delicate whiff of smoke. The mousse is very fine, and despite a vast, complex nose, it's razor-clean on the palate. Here, the terroir shines through tightly coiled acidity. Clean, pure layers of white grapefruit, chalk, and stone. — 12 years ago
Only shit. I like that. It almost has the feel of a sparking cider. — 13 years ago
Tremendous #Champagne #wine. Smells of dry toasted bread, carbon and golden apples. Tastes range from green/gold apples, dry apple core, slighty doughy from lees aging. Bone dry and refreshing. Classic example. — 9 years ago

2003 Vintage. Pale straw yellow color with abundant tiny bubbles with bread crust, baked apple, and hazelnut aromas. On the palate, it shows a delicate creamy mousse with mineral accented baked apple and pear, toasted hazelnut, apricot and a hint of vanilla flavors. Long finish. — 11 years ago
Sharp bing cherry and raspberry fruit with some oak. Medium finish. Great paired with roasted pork dinner. — 11 years ago
Opaque violet color with appealing graphite, toast, smoke, black fruit, and spice aromas. On the palate it medium-bodied, fresh and harmoniously structured with a supple texture, and well integrated fine tannins with black cherry, black raspberry, a hint of dark roast coffee, and subtle spice flavor accented with an wonderful minerality. Long finish. 15.5% alcohol — 11 years ago
The 2006 is good, the 2007, if you can find is a great value, awesome for a $10-13 wine. Balanced fruit with the oak taste of the 'toasted' barrel head & smooth from uncorking, improving as it breathes. — 12 years ago

Beautiful! Yeasty, toast, peach, apple pie, a bit of nuttiness, almonds and minerality on the nose. Bracing acidity, white peach, toasted Apple, lemon/lime, almond paste and well integrated yeasty notes on the palate. Holding up beautifully. — 11 years ago
"Rich blend shows hints of blackberry, caramel, roast coffee and toasted oak." states the label.
I thought it was a bit spicy, and could easily pick out the roast coffee. Paired wonderfully with beef chili. — 11 years ago
