Love these wines...great as usual. Slate, lemon, sweet florals, honeysuckle?, great hint of butterscotch from the age, but not too much, tiny hint of fennel? Much the same on the palate...just beginning to hit maturity, and the rigid spine of acidity is starting to soften. Great wine, nice way to end a day of shoveling out from #snowzilla — 10 years ago
It was over 100 degrees here in Dallas before noon. Drink some champagne. Lovely. Red fruit, nicely fizzy with tiny bubbles. Light and wonderfully refreshing on a summer afternoon. Great at the $38 price. — 11 years ago

2003 Vintage. Pale straw yellow color with abundant tiny bubbles with bread crust, baked apple, and hazelnut aromas. On the palate, it shows a delicate creamy mousse with mineral accented baked apple and pear, toasted hazelnut, apricot and a hint of vanilla flavors. Long finish. — 11 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Had this wine at another tasting and it's such an exceptional value as a champagne alternative. Pale straw yellow, rapid flow of tiny bubbles with fruit aromas and citrus notes. A blend of Xarel-lo, Macabeo and Parellada grown in limestone and clay, and spends 24 months on its lees before disgorgement. Frothy mousse, well-balanced, full-bodied, crisp with zesty fruit, apple and pear, wet stone minerality, biscuit tones and long on the finish. Exceptional! Tasting Sample. — 9 years ago
