Really enjoyed the blend. Smooth yet complex. Nice mineral and earthy palate — 6 years ago
At first I found this undrinkable because of the manure smell. But after a day being open it’s wonderful. Smoky aroma. Smooth balanced palate that keeps on giving. Charred plums, smoke, tobacco, white pepper, cinnamon, unsweetened cocoa. It’s a Christmas gift that keeps on giving. — 6 years ago

Nice. On the more acidic / precise and less yeasty end of the spectrum. — 8 years ago
Crisp, fresh and the perfect amount of bubbles for my liking. — 8 years ago

Smokey stone fruits and minerality. Medium plus body, acid and finish. Love the intensity on the palette. — 9 years ago
Absolutely fantastic. 100% Chardonnay and a hair from bone dry. Couldn't have guessed this was New World wine, let alone from Virginia. Super stuff. — 10 years ago
Abricots and oranges, rich and smooth. Top — 5 years ago
Easy to drink. Not too sweet. Served with oysters — 5 years ago
Lovely spicy wine that got bigger and better over the course of the bottle. Highly recommend to serve with or even after dinner. — 6 years ago

Father’s Day at Jane for mom bd. Jordon knows and likes this wine. More like a Burg in its complexity and balance and light footed profile. Yum. — 5 years ago
A very mineral red with great red fruit and spices, in a somewhat rustic but delightful way. Excellent at this price point and 2012 is drinking really well !!! — 8 years ago
Servi à l'aveugle pour testé le Clos Rougeard. Fruits noirs, épices, le bois est encore présent et se développe avec l'air bien et en a besoin. Texture soyeuse, belle rondeur. — 9 years ago
aik
pure, but matured fruits. There is storky nuance. — 5 years ago
