Incredible Beauty shared by our new bud Mitch Lieberman. I could not find him on delectable to tag him on this post. Perhaps @Howard Greenfield can assist?
This Right bank blend had everything going on! It was still fresh and lively on the palate, Pronounced red fruit & a huge a depth of flavor. It was drinking like a million bucks. I'm a Huge Figeac fan and this one did not disappoint!! Thank you sir., may I have another!! Lol⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — 9 years ago

2007 Beaucastel. So good right now, as yet so much more potential. Love to retaste in 2025 — 12 years ago
Bright, subtle fruity sweetness, hints of plum and boysenberry? — 13 years ago
From the wine list at EMP bought by a new friend at the table next to us to go mano a mano against the 88 La Turque I shared. Slightly darker red and more pure in color. Amazing aroma that is more linear than the animalistic La La but in the same league. Hit its stride right out of the pop and pour gate. Lovely perfume with a more briary nose but speaks Cote Rotie from the get go. Perfectly integrated fruit and structure. Best Jamet I've had. Thanks to Danny for this treat. — 9 years ago
A more delicate cab. Lighter body and tannins than the usual warm climate cabs. Delicious earth-ash tones mixed with some smokiness. Cherry and other red fruit. Love SL. — 9 years ago
Big wine with tropical fruit. Coconut dominates. Finish is not too long...but just right. — 11 years ago
2011. Blanc. No one drinks enough of this. That's because there are so few things to which its a good partner, but it would be an incredible cheese-and-charcuterie wine. Broad and oily, there's just enough acid to keep you coming back for more. Sun-baked yellow orchard fruits dominate, but there's more exotic fruits too (mango and dried pineapple) yellow flowers, tons of almond husk bitterness, green olives, bay leaf, oregano, tarragon, white cheddar. Oak is assertively present but not overwhelming. Place dominates over grapes here, as it's a mix of Clairette and Grenache Blanc and a hodge-podge of other things. — 11 years ago

Smooth with some deep fruity notes — 9 years ago
Just a special experience. The nose was powerful and dynamic evolving beautifully over 30 minutes. A smokey phase, a pine phase, and a strong floral phase. The palate was balanced and smooth. The fruit was dead but resembled fruit leather. Two bottles opened, one had grip left, the other didn't. #moutonrothschild #grandcruclassé #2ndgrowth #bordeaux #pauillac #1928 #ctbucklinwine — 9 years ago
Had a chance to try this 1964 vintage, was velvet on the palate. Now I just need to try the four other first growths to compare... — 11 years ago
1982 vintage. Wonderful peppery and herbal aroma, great acidity still and dried fruit flavors. Great wine. With Tim O'Rourke and other friends. At Ripple. — 11 years ago
For 12 bucks, this is an awesome value wine. Solid and fruity, but also versatile enough to drink with just about anything you can dish up (or even by itself). — 12 years ago
