Sooo good. Sign me up for the cult. Beautiful lithe fruit and restraint. Feathery tannins. — 5 years ago
This wine is perfectly aged for tonight. Needs a few years, and it will shine, like tonight.
Smells of blackberry prune preserves.
Tastes of Ripe bush fruit, oregano, super juicy, well rounded mouthfeel, soft, feathery tannins that mingle swimmingly well with the acid and stave.
Great wine, great price. Just needs to sit for a hot minute. — 6 years ago
A field of fresh real strawberry mingled with blackberry bramble and mint.
This nose continues to influence the wines light bodied flavor nuances.
Cherry skins, ripe red fruits, feathery vanilla tannins, crisp and well integrated horseshoe acidity. (Front and sides of tongue)
Delightful.

Trump is president, climate change is accelerating at a rapid rate and I’m currently single but open this up and the world seems a little brighter. This wine tastes hopeful and feathery and does that impossible sharp and soft taste thing that great wines seem to pull off. Arresting colour, a red amber that screams ‘expensive’ (which it is). I love pronouncing the name and I love drinking the wine even more. — 8 years ago
Feathery light, crisp and jammy if that's possible. Fun. Would buy again and save for summer next time.
Thanks to Bob and Steve. Great selection. — 9 years ago
Enjoyable, balanced #entredeuxmers #bordeaux. Spicy, dark fruit aroma, soft mouthfeel, lush purple fruit, balanced acidity and feathery tannins. The winemaker executed has nicely to product a Right Bank - character wine offered at an excellent QPR. — 5 years ago
A beautiful nose of fresh strawberry growing in wet hay.
Tangelo pithe, pomegranate, orange zest, unique flavors for a Cali red.
Light, feathery tannins, with sweet tart acidity.
A solid wine.

So this is my wine of year, 2018. On sight: a distressing shade of brown, with obvious floaters and heavy sediment. However, all that follows is trompe a l’oeil of the highest order, with oxidative elements suffused with freshness and reductive elements that express themselves in layers of complexity rather than primordial stink. Intense aromas and flavors of poached pear, star anise, porcini broth and white tea rise and fade within a frame of RS somewhere between trocken and feinherb. On the palate: ethereal texture, presence and length, with a weight reminiscent of some of Julien Meyer’s best Rieslings: simultaneously commanding and feathery. There are no primary or obvious elements of classic Riesling, yet you know it’s Riesling because no other grape could be a vehicle for this kind of brilliance. Just the barest hint of Manzanilla and sea salt on the complex finish. I really don’t know much about this winery, but I’ve never had anything from them that’s less than incredible. I’d place this next to ‘78 Marquis de Laguiche Montrachet, ‘82 DRC Montrachet, ‘59 Huet Vouvray Haut-Lieu and ‘76 JJ Prum Wehlener Sonnenuhr Spatlese in my “greatest whites” list. It IS that good, and I’ve been trying to talk myself out of that thought since April, when I consumed it from a paper cup in a hotel room. #bloomercreek #flxriesling — 7 years ago
I didn’t pick up any of the Viognier in here, but fantastic anyways, and peaking for sure. Light strawberry, mushroom-earth, leather, perfectly resolved and feathery on the palate, but still with enough latent power and finesse to leave a long impression. Nice! — 8 years ago
Feathery almost imperceptible tannins, buttery roof of mouth.
Mineral forward with subtle fruit. Whip-like finish. Very good contrast to traditional cab. Seems more restrained and elegant. Tasty. Keep drinking it — 8 years ago
2nd of 3 wines part of a virtual work happy hour from the Mrs. #russianrivervalley #pinotnoir - boldly fruit-forward, bramble fruit, faint spice on the nose. Drinks richer than many Merlots. Some layers in the palate, creamy texture, faint spice behind a big tidal wave of purple fruit up front and feathery tannins to finish. It needs more acidity and I prefer a more elegant Pinot but definitely a well-made wine if big fruity Pinot is your thing. — 5 years ago
Feathery, flavorful, Finger Lakin’ good — 5 years ago

First time tasting YQuem and it is truly in a class of its own so hard to justify a ranking. But for pure pleasure it’s also hard to imagine anything better. It’s flavors seem elusive, and shade into each other tricking your senses, all of which is intensely enjoyable. When you try to focus on its honey sweetness it turns its darkness on you and is all herbal. When you call out its mouthfeel it slides past you, both unctuous and feathery. Amazing experience. — 7 years ago
Showing the vintage for sure but still solid, a more feathery expression GV, lime zest, underripe plum, green mango, white pepper and crips green orchard fruits. Focused and precise, bones with little muscle. Day 3: want to take all those things back, now there’s the weight, mind-palate that I normally expect, great leesy noted abound with some richness. Why is GV so damn good after a couple DAYS of being opened? Blows my mind. — 8 years ago
Really unique medium bodied red with a very light smooth mid palette and quick clean finish. Very easy drinking as is. Very soft feathery tannins. Tons of ripe blueberry flavor. Dark purple color. Low alcohol for a red. Great summer wine. Great wine to enjoy if looking for something different. — 8 years ago

Bramble fruit and black cherry aplenty on the nose of this #montepulcianodabruzzo, succeeded by wet slate and soft spice plus dried floral notes. Bountiful acidity offsetting dark fruit and cocoa on the palate tracking into feathery tannins on the finish - delicious if you let it air out for a day. Note this was tight and vanilla-laden when you first open it; a day in the wine fridge works wonders. Check the box for another Italian grape and region I need to try more frequently. — 5 years ago
