Steely, crisp, medium bodied, a bit tart and dry. Good pairing with creamy pasta, pizza, fish stew. — 8 years ago
Wanted to drink this after listening to Dominique’s IDTT interview. Found the best nationally priced bottle in Pasadena and it showed really nicely, particularly after being open for something like 4 hours. I like his winemaking approach here, which doesn’t seem to be about elevating it beyond its provenance. It’s a delicious, mineral wine that would crush with shellfish and was lovely in the afternoon along with The Trip to Spain. — 8 years ago
Solid and satisfying. — 10 years ago
Quality drinking. Not sure the price but if it's less then $40 this is a massivr bargain. Mineral - soft lemon citrus notes. Balanced acidity - long lingering finish. Refreshing and very good. Cellar potential up to 10 years max. — 11 years ago

I’ve been on a QPR kick lately with this $11 Costco #valledeuco #malbec. Expected bramble fruit, leather notes on the nose but the fresh acidity, balance and restraint on the palate are much appreciated. — 5 years ago

Ripe and tannic, but juicy with good acidity that gives it a sleek feel on the palate. Drinking well with years to spare. — 8 years ago
Light citrus nose. Violet floral tastes. — 9 years ago
Pear, tart apple, slight bit of nutty salinity. Punching way above its weight class! Aww yeeeahhh — 11 years ago
Less oak, no butter. Almost seems like a Pinot blanc. Slight minerals and citrus. Delicious. — 11 years ago

Fresh floral aroma. Flavor of pears and honey followed by warm tannins. A lovely complex Chardonnay. — 12 years ago
2012, Clos Des Vignes Du Maynes, Cuvée 910, Macon-Cruzille, field blend of Gamay, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Very light with fresh red fruit balanced by spice and herbal undertones. This is one of my favorites, good as an apertif and pairs well with a variety of dishes. — 12 years ago

I was expecting an over-oaked style at 13.5 abv. Pleasantly surprised. As this was not the case. A nice balance of ripe orchard fruits and hint of spice, finish with slight bitter almond. Lacks density on the mid palate. Apparently this is a WS top 100 wine? No way. — 9 months ago
