The Eyrie Vineyards, Pinot Gris, from the Dundee Hills of Oregon. Vintage 2017. ABV 12.5%.
Bright citrus and tart melon and cantaloupe notes with some salinity and wet stone influences. Very refreshing and youthful.
Easy to pair with food, we have paired it with roasted bok choy, aubergine, and brown jasmine rice. It goes nicely and doesn’t compete with the tamari and sesame flavors. — 4 years ago
Pear, apple, lemon, melon, peach and mango. Great acidity and minerality. — 5 months ago
Pinot Gris is my favorite white, usually from Joel Gott or King Estate. I think I like this better. The nose is like an orchard in bloom. Medium bodied, pale yellow. Green and stone fruits finish with just enough sweetness. Delightful. — 6 months ago
Unique barnyardy aroma. Hibiscus. Super drinkable; especially in the humidity. Almost like a wild ale. Can’t wait to pick up another bottle. — 4 years ago
